2017 Medicare Surcharges Part B & D

Monthly premium for people who have to buy Part A  – $413 per month
If you have been on Medicare prior to 2015 and are collecting social security, your Part B premium was $104.90 per month. The 2017 Part B premium is now $109.00 per month.

If you became eligible for Medicare during 2016, your Part B premium was $121.80, unless your income exceeds $85,000 for an individual or $170,000 for a couple. Age in’s for 2016 will pay $121.60 per month instead of the $104.90 (Those premiums are included in the figures below.) The 2017 Part B premium is now $134.
